Vehicle Laws – Registration Plates Honoring Mountain <strong>Maryland</strong><br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> requiring the Motor Vehicle Administration to develop and make<br />

available a specially designed registration plate honoring Mountain <strong>Maryland</strong>;<br />

specifying the vehicles that are eligible for the registration plate; requiring the<br />

owner <strong>of</strong> a vehicle issued the registration plate to pay certain fees; providing for<br />

the distribution <strong>of</strong> a certain fee to the Chesapeake Bay Trust and the <strong>Maryland</strong><br />

Agricultural Education Foundation, Inc.; requiring the Administration to consult<br />

with the Greater Allegany Business Foundation and the Garrett County Economic<br />

Development Corporation on certain matters; requiring the Administration to<br />

adopt regulations; and generally relating to registration plates honoring Mountain<br />

<strong>Maryland</strong>.<br />

incurred by an employer during the taxable year to provide on–site child care for<br />

employees at the employer’s business location in this State; providing for the<br />

application <strong>of</strong> this Act; and generally relating to a State income tax credit for<br />

certain expenses paid or incurred by an employer to provide on–site child care for<br />

employees.<br />
