House Bill 758 – Delegates Dumais, Bronrott, Anderson, Barkley, Barve, Feldman,<br />

Frank, Howard, Kaiser, Kelly, N. King, Kramer, Lawton, Lee, McComas, Mizeur,<br />

O’Donnell, Schuler, Shank, Shewell, Smigiel, Sophocleus, and Valderrama<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Task Force to Combat Driving Under the Influence <strong>of</strong> Drugs and Alcohol<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> establishing the Task Force to Combat Driving Under the Influence<br />

<strong>of</strong> Drugs and Alcohol; providing for the membership <strong>of</strong> the Task Force; requiring<br />

the Governor to request that a certain representative participate in the Task Force;<br />

designating the chair <strong>of</strong> the Task Force; providing for the staffing for the Task<br />

Force; providing that a member <strong>of</strong> the Task Force may not receive certain<br />

compensation, but is entitled to a certain reimbursement; establishing the duties <strong>of</strong><br />

the Task Force; requiring the Task Force to submit interim and final reports to the<br />

Governor and the <strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong> on or before certain dates; providing for the<br />

termination <strong>of</strong> this Act; and generally relating to the Task Force to Combat<br />

Driving Under the Influence <strong>of</strong> Drugs and Alcohol.<br />

House Bill 759 – Delegate V. Clagett<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Continuing Care in a Retirement Community – Subscriber Advocacy Fees<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing subscribers in a continuing care retirement community to<br />

withhold a certain percentage <strong>of</strong> a monthly fee if a provider pays a certain<br />

percentage <strong>of</strong> monthly fees for membership in a certain association; authorizing<br />

subscribers to pay the money withheld to a certain association or group that<br />

engages in certain advocacy activities; prohibiting any decrease in monthly fees to<br />

be the basis for a fee increase by the provider; and generally relating to subscriber<br />

fees for continuing care in a retirement community.<br />
