Commission; prohibiting a commissioner from receiving certain compensations,<br />

but authorizing a commissioner to receive certain reimbursements; requiring the<br />

Commission to submit certain reports to the Governor and <strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong> on<br />

or before certain dates; and generally relating to the <strong>Maryland</strong> Commission on<br />

House Bill 704 – Delegates Olszewski and Bromwell<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Registered Sex Offenders – Residence Adjacent to Locations Where Children<br />

Congregate – Prohibition in Baltimore County<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> prohibiting a registered sex <strong>of</strong>fender in Baltimore County from<br />

residing within a certain distance <strong>of</strong> a school, child care facility, or location where<br />

children congregate; establishing criminal penalties for a violation <strong>of</strong> this Act;<br />

specifying how distance shall be measured for purposes <strong>of</strong> this Act; creating a<br />

certain exception; defining certain terms; and generally relating to prohibiting a<br />

registered sex <strong>of</strong>fender in Baltimore County from residing adjacent to locations<br />

where children congregate.<br />
