AN ACT concerning<br />

<strong>Maryland</strong> Transportation Authority – Public–Private Partnerships<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> requiring that the <strong>Maryland</strong> Transportation Authority provide certain<br />

notice and information to certain committees <strong>of</strong> the <strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong> and the<br />

Department <strong>of</strong> Legislative Services prior to issuing a public notice <strong>of</strong> procurement<br />

related to certain public–private partnership arrangements or entering into certain<br />

public–private partnership arrangements; prohibiting the Authority from entering<br />

into certain public–private partnership arrangements in which the total amount <strong>of</strong><br />

certain payments exceeds a certain amount without certain approval from the<br />

<strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong>; defining certain terms; and generally relating to the <strong>Maryland</strong><br />

Transportation Authority and certain public–private partnership arrangements.<br />
