House Bill 402 – Delegates Donoghue, Conway, and McKee<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Correctional Officers’ Retirement System – Membership – Correctional Case<br />

Managers<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> altering the membership <strong>of</strong> the Correctional Officers’ Retirement<br />

System; clarifying that certain members <strong>of</strong> the Correctional Officers’ Retirement<br />

System are eligible to receive a normal service retirement allowance or a deferred<br />

vested retirement allowance; requiring the transfer <strong>of</strong> certain member<br />

contributions to the annuity savings fund <strong>of</strong> the Correctional Officers’ Retirement<br />

System; providing for a refund <strong>of</strong> certain member contributions under certain<br />

circumstances; providing that certain transfers <strong>of</strong> credit between the Employees’<br />

Retirement and Pension Systems and the Correctional Officers’ Retirement<br />

System are not governed by certain provisions <strong>of</strong> law; and generally relating to<br />

membership in the Correctional Officers’ Retirement System.<br />

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,<br />

House Bill 403 – Allegany County Delegation<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Allegany County – Junkyard Ordinance – Appearances at Trial<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> providing that, in Allegany County, during a prosecution for a certain<br />

civil infraction related to junkyards, the presence <strong>of</strong> the State’s Attorney is not<br />

required if a certain <strong>of</strong>ficial who issued the citation for the infraction is present on<br />

behalf <strong>of</strong> the county; and generally relating to the enforcement <strong>of</strong> the junkyard<br />

ordinance in Allegany County.<br />

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,<br />
