House Bill 431 – Delegates Hixson, Conway, Dumais, Feldman, Rice, Ali, Barkley,<br />

Bronrott, Gilchrist, Hucker, Kaiser, N. King, Lawton, Manno, and Mizeur<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt – Montgomery County – Woodstock Equestrian Park<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing the creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt not to exceed $500,000, the<br />

proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board <strong>of</strong> Trustees <strong>of</strong> the Montgomery County<br />

Parks Foundation, Inc. for certain development or improvement purposes;<br />

providing for disbursement <strong>of</strong> the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the<br />

grantee provide and expend a matching fund; requiring the grantee to grant and<br />

convey a certain easement to the <strong>Maryland</strong> Historic Trust; establishing a deadline<br />

for the encumbrance or expenditure <strong>of</strong> the loan proceeds; and providing generally<br />

for the issuance and sale <strong>of</strong> bonds evidencing the loan.<br />

Correctional Services Internal Investigative Unit to become members <strong>of</strong> the Law<br />

Enforcement Officers’ Pension System; requiring the Board <strong>of</strong> Trustees for the
