House Bill 675 – Delegate Glassman<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

<strong>Maryland</strong> State Firemen’s Association – Volunteer Company Assistance Fund<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> expanding the range <strong>of</strong> purposes for which the <strong>Maryland</strong> State<br />

Firemen’s Association may use money in the Volunteer Company Assistance<br />

Fund; authorizing that the Association may formulate, publish, and distribute<br />

certain fire standards, laws, guidelines, and recommendations; authorizing the<br />

Association to purchase certain materials and sponsor certain seminars and other<br />

public forums and to maintain certain memberships in a certain way; authorizing<br />

the Association to provide certain items for certain vehicles, provide certain<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essional services, and promote, disseminate, and advocate for certain<br />

programs and services; and generally relating to the Volunteer Company<br />

Assistance Fund.<br />
