AN ACT concerning<br />

Jessica’s Law – Sexual Offenses – Parole Eligibility and Mandatory Minimum<br />

Sentences<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> providing that persons who are convicted <strong>of</strong> certain sexual <strong>of</strong>fenses<br />

are not eligible for parole during certain mandatory minimum sentences;<br />

prohibiting a certain person from engaging in certain sexual contact with a child<br />

who is under a certain age; establishing a certain penalty; prohibiting a court from<br />

suspending any part <strong>of</strong> a sentence for a certain sexual <strong>of</strong>fense committed against a<br />

child under a certain age; requiring the State to provide a certain notification if the<br />

State intends to seek a certain sentence under certain circumstances; creating a<br />

certain exception; and generally relating to sexual <strong>of</strong>fenses involving children.<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Identity Fraud – Victim – Expungement <strong>of</strong> False Criminal Record<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing a court to order a defendant who pleads guilty or is found<br />

guilty <strong>of</strong> using another person’s name or other identification without consent or<br />

authorization to make restitution to the victim for certain costs associated with an<br />

expungement proceeding that arose because <strong>of</strong> the identity fraud; allowing a<br />

person to request that the Office <strong>of</strong> the Attorney <strong>General</strong> file a petition for<br />

expungement <strong>of</strong> certain records if the records resulted from the arrest <strong>of</strong> another<br />

using the person’s name or other identification without consent or authorization;<br />

requiring the Office <strong>of</strong> the Attorney <strong>General</strong> to create a certain form for requests<br />

for the filing <strong>of</strong> a petition for the expungement <strong>of</strong> certain records and requiring<br />

that the form be made available over the Internet; authorizing the Office <strong>of</strong> the
