AN ACT concerning<br />

Andrew’s Law<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> requiring the Motor Vehicle Administration to provide for a method<br />

by which an applicant for a driver’s license or identification card can designate an<br />

individual to contact in the event the applicant becomes incapacitated; requiring<br />

the Administration to make a notation on the applicant’s driving record or record<br />

<strong>of</strong> application for an identification card indicating the fact that the applicant has<br />

designated a certain individual as an emergency contact in the event the applicant<br />

becomes incapacitated; requiring the Administration to develop a database system<br />

that contains certain telephone numbers and is accessible by a law enforcement<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficer; requiring the Administration to notify an applicant <strong>of</strong> certain facts;<br />

defining a certain term; providing for a delayed effective date; and generally<br />

relating to developing a system for designating an individual to contact under<br />

certain circumstances.<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Vehicle Laws – Skateboards – Protective Helmets<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> prohibiting an individual under a certain age from riding in certain<br />

places on a skateboard unless the individual wears a helmet that meets or exceeds<br />

certain standards; providing for the issuance <strong>of</strong> a certain warning; and generally<br />

relating to the use <strong>of</strong> skateboards.<br />
