Delegates Howard and Myers escorted the Senate into the House Chamber.<br />

President Miller called for the Senate roll.<br />

SENATE QUORUM CALL<br />

The presiding <strong>of</strong>ficer announced a quorum call, showing 46 Members present.<br />

Speaker Busch called for the House roll.<br />

HOUSE QUORUM CALL<br />

The presiding <strong>of</strong>ficer announced a quorum call, showing 139 Members present.<br />

A majority <strong>of</strong> both the House and the Senate being present, Speaker Busch declared both<br />

bodies in Joint Session.<br />

Senators Hogan and Kittleman and Delegates Griffith and O’Donnell escorted the<br />

Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown to the Rostrum.<br />

Senators McFadden, Kasemeyer and Brinkley and Delegates McHale, Benson and Kach<br />

escorted the Chief Executive to the Speaker’s Rostrum.<br />

Speaker Busch presented the Chief Executive <strong>of</strong> <strong>Maryland</strong>, Governor Martin O’Malley.<br />

The Chief Executive addressed the <strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong>.<br />
