House Bill 782 – Delegates Conway, Cane, and Mathias
AN ACT concerning
Creation of a State Debt – Atlantic General Hospital
FOR the purpose of authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $700,000, the
proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of Atlantic General
Hospital Corporation for certain development or improvement purposes; providing
for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee
provide and expend a matching fund; establishing a deadline for the encumbrance
or expenditure of the loan proceeds; and providing generally for the issuance and
sale of bonds evidencing the loan.

AN ACT concerning
Workers’ Compensation – Montgomery County Correctional Officers
MC 705–07
FOR the purpose of providing for enhanced workers’ compensation benefits for certain
Montgomery County correctional officers for a compensable permanent partial
disability of less than a certain number of weeks; providing for the application of
this Act; and generally relating to workers’ compensation benefits for
Montgomery County correctional officers and deputy sheriff sergeants.
