Advanced Electric Meters – Residential Use<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> requiring the Public Service Commission to adopt regulations to<br />

require electric companies to make advanced electric meters available to<br />

residential customers by a certain date; limiting the charges that an electric<br />

company may impose for certain costs for advanced electric meters and certain<br />

installation and service charges; defining a certain term; and generally relating to<br />

advanced electric meters for residential use.<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Public Schools – Summer Learning Pilot Program<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> establishing the Summer Learning Pilot Program; providing for the<br />

purpose <strong>of</strong> the Program; requiring the State Board <strong>of</strong> Education to select a certain<br />

number <strong>of</strong> schools to host the Program; prohibiting the State Board from selecting<br />

a school for the Program without the approval <strong>of</strong> the county board <strong>of</strong> education;<br />

requiring certain county boards to develop a model summer learning program with<br />

a certain curriculum; requiring a county board, in consultation with the State<br />

Board, to determine the cost <strong>of</strong> the Program in that county; requiring a county<br />

board to identify funds to pay for a certain percentage <strong>of</strong> the Program from certain<br />

sources; requiring the State to pay certain funds for the Program under certain<br />

circumstances; requiring the State Board to submit a certain report to certain<br />

committees <strong>of</strong> the <strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong> on or before a certain date; and generally<br />

relating to the Summer Learning Pilot Program.<br />
