Teachers’ Retirement System and Teachers’ Pension System – Reemployment <strong>of</strong><br />

Retirees<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> altering the total number <strong>of</strong> certain retirees <strong>of</strong> the Teachers’<br />

Retirement System or Teachers’ Pension System that certain school districts may<br />

rehire; altering the criteria for hiring certain retirees <strong>of</strong> the Teachers’ Retirement<br />

System or the Teachers’ Pension System who are exempt from a certain <strong>of</strong>fset <strong>of</strong> a<br />

retirement allowance; and generally relating to the reemployment <strong>of</strong> retirees in the<br />

Teachers’ Retirement System or the Teachers’ Pension System.<br />

House Bill 963 – Delegates Weir, Beidle, Boteler, Donoghue, Holmes, McConkey,<br />

McKee, Minnick, Shank, Sossi, and Stull<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Vehicle Laws – Off–Highway Vehicles – Titling and Registration<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> creating an Off–Highway Vehicle Fund in the Department <strong>of</strong> Natural<br />

Resources; establishing the purpose <strong>of</strong> the Fund; requiring the Secretary <strong>of</strong> Natural<br />

Resources to administer the Fund; providing that the Fund is a continuing,<br />

nonlapsing special fund not subject to certain provisions <strong>of</strong> law; requiring the<br />

Fund to be administered in a certain manner; providing for the composition <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Fund; providing that expenditures from the Fund may only be used in accordance<br />

with the State budget; creating an Off–Highway Vehicle Trails Advisory<br />

Committee; providing for the membership and duties <strong>of</strong> the Committee; providing<br />

for the appointment <strong>of</strong> the Chair and Vice Chair <strong>of</strong> the Committee; providing for<br />

the staffing <strong>of</strong> the Committee; prohibiting a member <strong>of</strong> the Committee from<br />

receiving certain compensation or reimbursement; defining “<strong>of</strong>f–highway<br />

vehicle”; providing that an <strong>of</strong>f–highway vehicle that is purchased before a certain<br />

date does not need a certificate <strong>of</strong> title until after a certain date unless the vehicle
