Elections – Presidential Primaries – Unaffiliated Voters<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> allowing a registered voter who has declined to affiliate with any<br />

political party to express a preference for a presidential candidate <strong>of</strong> any political<br />

party on the ballot in a presidential primary; providing that the expression <strong>of</strong><br />

preference is un<strong>of</strong>ficial and shall be reported separately from <strong>of</strong>ficial election<br />

results; and generally relating to the expression <strong>of</strong> preference by unaffiliated<br />

voters in a presidential primary.<br />

O’Donnell, Shank, Shewell, Sossi, Stull, and Weir<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Vehicle Laws – Right–<strong>of</strong>–Way – Penalties for Failure to Yield<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> establishing that, if a person is convicted <strong>of</strong> failing to yield the<br />

right–<strong>of</strong>–way in violation <strong>of</strong> certain provisions <strong>of</strong> law and the violation contributes<br />

to an accident that results in serious bodily injury to another, the person is subject<br />

to a certain fine and the Motor Vehicle Administration is required to suspend the<br />

person’s license for a certain period <strong>of</strong> time; establishing the fine and period <strong>of</strong><br />

license suspension to which a person is subject if the person is convicted <strong>of</strong> failing<br />

to yield the right–<strong>of</strong>–way in violation <strong>of</strong> certain provisions <strong>of</strong> law and the violation<br />

contributes to an accident that results in the death <strong>of</strong> another; providing that the<br />

penalties established under this Act are in addition to any other penalty provided<br />

by law; providing that a certain licensee may request a certain hearing; and<br />

generally relating to penalties for failure to yield the right–<strong>of</strong>–way.<br />
