House Bill 990 – Frederick County Delegation<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Frederick County – Employees’ Pension System – Alternate Contributory Pension<br />

Selection<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> allowing the employees <strong>of</strong> Frederick County who are members <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Employees’ Pension System to become subject to the Alternate Contributory<br />

Pension Selection that alters the benefits those members receive and requires a<br />

certain member contribution; authorizing the purchase <strong>of</strong> service credit under<br />

certain circumstances; requiring Frederick County to pay for certain additional<br />

pension liabilities according to a certain amortization schedule approved by the<br />

Board <strong>of</strong> Trustees for the State Retirement and Pension System; making this Act<br />

subject to a certain contingency; requiring the State Retirement Agency to verify<br />

certain information; and generally relating to participation in the Alternate<br />

Contributory Pension Selection part <strong>of</strong> the Employees’ Pension System by certain<br />

employees <strong>of</strong> Frederick County.<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Baltimore City – Hotel Room Tax – Convention Center Promotion<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> extending to a certain date provisions requiring that for certain fiscal<br />

years certain amounts measured by proceeds from a hotel room tax imposed by<br />

Baltimore City be appropriated for certain purposes; requiring that the required<br />

appropriation be made to a certain association; repealing certain obsolete
