Public Schools – School Computers – Internet Filters
FOR the purpose of requiring county boards of education to adopt and implement certain
policies and procedures to prevent certain minors from using Internet services on
school computers to access certain obscene or pornographic materials on or before
a certain date; requiring county boards to submit certain policies and procedures to
the State Superintendent of Schools for review; requiring a county board or a
designee of a county board to conduct certain monitoring of certain computers;
defining certain terms; and generally relating to Internet filters on public school
computers.

FOR the purpose of requiring certain conditions under which an individual shall be
determined medically eligible to receive certain services under the Maryland
Medical Assistance Program; requiring certain physicians to make a certain
certification; defining certain terms; and generally relating to the Maryland
Medical Assistance Program and long–term care services for cognitive and
functionally impaired individuals.
