Public Schools – School Computers – Internet Filters<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> requiring county boards <strong>of</strong> education to adopt and implement certain<br />

policies and procedures to prevent certain minors from using Internet services on<br />

school computers to access certain obscene or pornographic materials on or before<br />

a certain date; requiring county boards to submit certain policies and procedures to<br />

the State Superintendent <strong>of</strong> Schools for review; requiring a county board or a<br />

designee <strong>of</strong> a county board to conduct certain monitoring <strong>of</strong> certain computers;<br />

defining certain terms; and generally relating to Internet filters on public school<br />

computers.<br />

determined medically eligible to receive certain services under the <strong>Maryland</strong><br />

Medical Assistance Program; requiring certain physicians to make a certain<br />

certification; defining certain terms; and generally relating to the <strong>Maryland</strong><br />

Medical Assistance Program and long–term care services for cognitive and<br />

functionally impaired individuals.<br />
