Baltimore City – Property Tax Credit for Newly Constructed Dwellings<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> altering the termination date applicable to certain provisions<br />

authorizing the Mayor and City Council <strong>of</strong> Baltimore City to grant, by law, a<br />

property tax credit against the local property tax imposed on certain newly<br />

constructed dwellings under certain circumstances; and generally relating to<br />

property tax credits for newly constructed dwellings in Baltimore City.<br />

House Bill 252 – Frederick County Delegation<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Frederick County – Collective Bargaining – Representatives for Correctional<br />

Officers<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing the representatives <strong>of</strong> certain full–time correctional<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficers in the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office to collectively bargain with the<br />

Sheriff <strong>of</strong> Frederick County concerning wages and benefits; authorizing certain<br />

correctional <strong>of</strong>ficers to take certain actions or refrain from taking certain actions in<br />

connection with certain labor organizations and collective bargaining activities;<br />

requiring that any additional funding required as a result <strong>of</strong> a negotiated agreement<br />

be subject to the approval <strong>of</strong> the County Commissioners <strong>of</strong> Frederick County;<br />

providing for the procedures for certifying a labor organization as an exclusive<br />

representative and for collective bargaining negotiations; requiring a collective<br />

bargaining agreement to contain certain matters; and generally relating to<br />

collective bargaining with the Sheriff <strong>of</strong> Frederick County.<br />
