AN ACT concerning<br />

Creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt – Montgomery County – Poolesville Town Hall<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing the creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt not to exceed $250,000, the<br />

proceeds to be used as a grant to the Commissioners <strong>of</strong> the Town <strong>of</strong> Poolesville<br />

for certain development or improvement purposes; providing for disbursement <strong>of</strong><br />

the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a<br />

matching fund; establishing a deadline for the encumbrance or expenditure <strong>of</strong> the<br />

loan proceeds; and providing generally for the issuance and sale <strong>of</strong> bonds<br />

evidencing the loan.<br />

Voting Rights Restoration – Ex–Offenders<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> altering certain qualifications for voter registration; providing that an<br />

individual is not qualified to register to vote if the individual has been convicted <strong>of</strong><br />

a felony and is awaiting or actually serving a sentence <strong>of</strong> imprisonment; repealing<br />

certain conditions relating to the eligibility <strong>of</strong> certain felons convicted <strong>of</strong> certain<br />

crimes to register to vote; modifying a certain penalty; and generally relating to<br />

voter registration eligibility requirements for individuals convicted <strong>of</strong> certain<br />

crimes.<br />
