AN ACT concerning<br />

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission – Budget Approval<br />

MC/PG 115–07<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> providing that if the county councils <strong>of</strong> Montgomery and Prince<br />

George’s counties fail to concur in a change in the funding <strong>of</strong> an item in the<br />

operating budget or capital budget <strong>of</strong> the Washington Suburban Sanitary<br />

Commission (WSSC) by a certain time, the funding level for that item may not<br />

exceed a certain level; providing that if the county councils <strong>of</strong> Montgomery and<br />

Prince George’s counties fail to approve the operating budget or capital budget <strong>of</strong><br />

the WSSC by a certain time, the funding levels for those budgets may not exceed a<br />

certain level; and generally relating to the budgets <strong>of</strong> the Washington Suburban<br />

Sanitary Commission.<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Washington Suburban Sanitary District – System Development Charge –<br />

Exemptions<br />

MC/PG 116–07<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing the County Councils <strong>of</strong> Montgomery County and Prince<br />

George’s County to grant an exemption from a system development charge<br />

imposed by the Washington Suburban Sanitary District for certain properties<br />

owned by certain entities that are exempt from federal taxation and whose primary<br />

mission and purpose is to provide programs and services to youth under certain<br />

circumstances and for certain projects that include a commitment to preserve<br />

certain open space under the definitions, conditions, and requirements that the<br />

County Councils set; and generally relating to the Washington Suburban Sanitary<br />

District and the system development charge.
