House Bill 269 – Delegates Rosenberg and N. King
AN ACT concerning
Public Service Summer Internship Scholarship Program
FOR the purpose of establishing the Public Service Summer Internship Scholarship
Program at the Shriver Center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County;
establishing the purpose of the Program; requiring the Shriver Center to administer
the Program; establishing a process for eligible students to participate in the
Program; establishing certain priorities for participation in the Program; requiring
the Shriver Center to award certain scholarships of a certain amount; limiting the
number of scholarships that may be awarded in certain years; requiring the Shriver
Center to adopt certain policies; providing for the funding of the Program;
requiring certain reports; and generally relating to the creation of the Public
Service Summer Internship Scholarship Program.
