FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> repealing the exemption for Charles County from a certain<br />

prohibition against drinking alcoholic beverages without authorization on public<br />

property and certain other areas; making certain stylistic changes; and generally<br />

relating to drinking alcoholic beverages in Charles County.<br />

House Bill 380 – Charles County Delegation<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt – Charles County – Mattawoman Creek Art Center<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing the creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt not to exceed $15,000, the<br />

proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board <strong>of</strong> Directors <strong>of</strong> the Mattawoman Creek<br />

Art Center, Inc. for certain development or improvement purposes; providing for<br />

disbursement <strong>of</strong> the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee<br />

provide and expend a matching fund; requiring the grantee to grant and convey a<br />

certain easement to the <strong>Maryland</strong> Historical Trust; establishing a deadline for the<br />

encumbrance or expenditure <strong>of</strong> the loan proceeds; and providing generally for the<br />

issuance and sale <strong>of</strong> bonds evidencing the loan.<br />

House Bill 381 – Charles County Delegation<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Charles County – Alcoholic Beverages – Sales to Underage Persons<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> altering the maximum fine that the Board <strong>of</strong> License Commissioners<br />

<strong>of</strong> Charles County may impose on an employee <strong>of</strong> an alcoholic beverages licensee<br />

for the sale <strong>of</strong> alcoholic beverages to an underage person; and generally relating to<br />

alcoholic beverages sales in Charles County.
