AN ACT concerning<br />

<strong>Maryland</strong> School Attendance Performance Program<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> establishing the <strong>Maryland</strong> School Attendance Performance Program<br />

to reward schools that show substantial improvement in attendance rates; requiring<br />

the Program to include certain financial rewards based on certain criteria;<br />

requiring the State Board <strong>of</strong> Education to establish certain guidelines; requiring a<br />

school attendance improvement team <strong>of</strong> a recipient school to determine how<br />

certain awards will be used, based on certain conditions; requiring certain<br />

principals to file certain reports; and generally relating to the <strong>Maryland</strong> School<br />
