House Bill 569 – Delegates Proctor and Vallario<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt – Prince George’s County – Henson Valley Montessori<br />

School<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> authorizing the creation <strong>of</strong> a State Debt not to exceed $250,000, the<br />

proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board <strong>of</strong> Trustees <strong>of</strong> the Henson Valley<br />

Montessori School, Inc. for certain development or improvement purposes;<br />

providing for disbursement <strong>of</strong> the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the<br />

grantee provide and expend a matching fund; establishing a deadline for the<br />

encumbrance or expenditure <strong>of</strong> the loan proceeds; and providing generally for the<br />

issuance and sale <strong>of</strong> bonds evidencing the loan.<br />

House Bill 570 – Delegates Rosenberg, Barve, and James<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Task Force to Study Incentives for Teen Parents<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> establishing the Task Force to Study Incentives for Teen Parents;<br />

providing for the membership <strong>of</strong> the Task Force; requiring the Department <strong>of</strong><br />

Human Resources to provide staff for the Task Force; providing for the duties <strong>of</strong><br />

the Task Force; prohibiting members <strong>of</strong> the Task Force from receiving certain<br />

compensation; requiring the Task Force to report to the Governor, the Senate<br />

Finance Committee, the House Appropriations Committee, and the Joint<br />

Committee on Welfare Reform; providing for the termination <strong>of</strong> this Act; and<br />

generally relating to the Task Force to Study Incentives for Teen Parents.<br />
