172 Every shepherd gathers his floek at nightfall;
he leads them to sheIter in bad weather;

upon how to save it in the final hour.
176 Great is the torment of the sinners in hell;
an enormous, horrifying, never ending tormento
In that great inferno are they to remain for all etemity
May the wise do penitenee that they might not end there.

Weapons against death
Death intrudes when least expeeted.
And, perhaps, leaves no time for eonfession.
He that truly praetiees these three things
shall be saved, no matter how he dies.
First truth
184 O Good Lord, 1 confess I am a sinner,
and am guilty of doing bad.
Now that I have unduly offended thee,
it weighs heavily upon me and I repent having sinned against Thee.
Second truth
188 O Good lord! 1 hereby promise
to refrain from sin all my days.
Lord, please give me strength and graee
to persevere with this resolution all my days.
Third truth
192 O Good Lord! I promise that for Lent
I shall make a proper eonfession,
and fulfil the penitenee put by my eonfessor.
Lord, strengthen my will!
196 If anyone will not fulfil these things,
let him know there is surely no salvation for him,
even if he has eonfessed of all his sins;
let whoever would not be fooled believe.
