1 Let me come closer, dear love,
'twould be a pity to leave each other now.
3 The beloved: - let us leave each other,
for people are beginning to scorn uso
Let us part before we are mocked,
before we become the butt of everyone's laughter
7 Alas, my beloved, I am lost!
I could never grow weary in thy company;
the pain of separation while alive is great.
Wilt thou leave me so soon?
