Prayer
389 Hail, Mary, our Lady full of grace,
called to be the Mother Virgin of Cod Himself;
Crear Queen of all heaven and earth,
advocate and comforter to sinners.
393 1, come unto thee, a great sinner,
to ask earnestly of Thee to help me.
Unworthy though I am to speak Thy holy name,
nor to be in Thy presence, unclean that I amo
397 Creat Lady, who is most merciful,
do not, I pray, reject nor despise me,
for alas, my sweet Mother, if Thou dost turn away from me,
my doom is therein sealed.
401 I am so lacking in virtue in everything,
being one who is ever sinning,
and always straying like a blind sheep,
always deceived by the flesh and this world.
405 As Thou art the Mother and source of all grace,
a great treasurer of all virtue and good,
never tainted by sin,
grant me the grace to carry on virtuously.
409 Within Thee lies all relief for sinners,
Hope, health, and salvation;
Doomed is he who turns his back upon Thee,
whereas he who enjoys Thy protection is saved.
413 Cod has granted Thee great power,
as Thou art His mother, indeed a beloved mother,
for Thou hast such favour throughout heaven and earth,
that whatever Thou mightst ask is granted,
417 that through Thee all the others might gain grace,
and that he who entrusts himself unto Thee may be saved by Thee.
O fine and incomparable Lady,
grant me the grace to be among those saved.
421 I entrust myself unto Thee in life and death,
my body, my soul and all I own.
Help me, I pray, in my hour of need
and, 1 pray, rule over aH my life,
