Special Education K-12 Certification — Post Degree Certificate for Direct<br />

Employment<br />

Prepare for arizona special Education K-12 Certification with concentrations in Cross-Categorical or learning<br />

Disabilities. Each concentration is available under two program options: option 1 applies to students who do not have<br />

K-12 teacher certification. option 2 applies to students who have Elementary, secondary, or special Education teacher<br />

certification. separate requirements apply for each program option. Please contact the teacher Education office for<br />

additional details. Courses emphasize professional teaching standards, technology, diversity and current teaching<br />

theory. Complete this program by taking courses exclusively online.<br />

Program Prerequisites: Before you can enroll, you must earn a bachelor’s degree.<br />
