Competency-based assignments, concepts of patient-centered clinical practice and professional development shall be
discussed, examined, performed and evaluated under the supervision of a certified Radiologic Technologist. The clinical
practicum incorporates critical analysis, integration, synthesis and evaluation of concepts and theories in the performance
of radiographic procedures.

Continuation of RAD 181. Includes routine skull, sinuses, facial bone radiographs and radiation biology.

This is a capstone course. Includes review of radiographic procedures, image production and evaluation, patient care,
equipment operation, and radiation protection.

This is a capstone course which includes instruction in making application to the American Registry of Radiologic
Technology (AART) and the Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE). The course includes both a
written mock registry and a computerized exam.
