This catalog is one of three publications that are essential to<br />

a student’s success at <strong>Pima</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong>.<br />

The other two publications are:<br />

• Schedule of Classes—a semester publication of<br />

classes offered. The schedule is available online<br />

(www.pima.edu) and at all campuses.<br />

• Student Handbook—an annual publication of regulations<br />

and resources at PCC. The handbook is<br />

distributed to students attending orientation and<br />

available at any campus Student Services Center.<br />

Accreditation<br />

<strong>Pima</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> (4905 e. Broadway Blvd.,<br />

higher learning Commission of the North Central<br />

Association of <strong>College</strong>s and Schools. The Commission can<br />

The following programs have also been accredited or certified<br />

by specialized agencies recognized by the Arizona<br />

Department of education and/or the U.S. Department of<br />

education: Automotive Technology, Building And<br />

Construction Technology, Dental Assisting, Dental hygiene,<br />

Dental laboratory Technology, emergency Medical<br />

Technician, health Information Technology,<br />

histotechnology, Machine Tool Technology, Nursing,<br />

Paralegal, Pharmacy Technology, Radiologic Technology,<br />

Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology, Teacher<br />

education, Therapeutic Massage, and Veterinary<br />

Technology. In addition, <strong>Pima</strong>’s Aviation Technology program<br />

is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.<br />
