AGEC Special Requirements<br />

Students are required to take courses that meet each of the following:<br />

• intensive writing and critical inquiry (i)<br />

• Cultural diversity highlighting ethnic, race, and/or gender awareness (C)<br />

• global diversity (g)<br />

agEC special requirements can be completed in one, two or three courses. Look for the agEC special requirement code (i,<br />

C, and g) in the course lists below. to avoid exceeding the 35 credits required for the agEC; the student should choose some<br />

courses that satisfy both the agEC special requirements and the category requirements. for example, HUM 253 fulfills a category<br />

requirement of Humanities and fine arts and the three agEC special requirements: intensive Writing and Critical<br />

inquiry (i), Cultural Diversity (C), and global awareness (g). See an advisor or counselor for help in selecting courses.<br />
