JPN 108 Japanese Anime<br />

Historical and modern anime will be examined as indicators of cultural/economic changes in Japanese/Western contact. In<br />

addition, Japanese culture reflected in popular art form will be analyzed with an emphasis on delineating ways in which<br />

this analysis can be used to facilitate communication between Japan and the West.<br />
