GAM 214 Digital Arts Business and Portfolio<br />

Business techniques for the digital arts industry. Includes designer/client relationship, fee structures for designer services,<br />

documenting time, portfolio development, and advertising and promotion.<br />

GTW 101 Writing for Trades and Technical Occupations<br />

3 cr. hrs. 3 periods (3 lec.)<br />

Applied technical reading and writing components necessary for trade and industrial occupations. Includes review of<br />

grammar; spelling and sentence building basics; reading trade and technical texts critically; and practical application of<br />

writing including writing for clarity, accuracy and professionalism as they relate to job functions, occupational requirements<br />

and effective communications across trades.<br />

Prerequisite(s): WRT 070 or 075 with a C or better, or required score on the writing assessment test for WRT 100.<br />

GTW 101A Writing for Trades and Technical Occupations: Module A<br />

1 cr. hrs. 1 periods (1 lec.)<br />

Module A constitutes approximately the first one-third of GTW 101.<br />

Prerequisite(s): WRT 070 or 075 with a C or better, or required score on the writing assessment test for WRT 100.<br />

Information: GTW 101A, 101B, and 101C together constitute GTW 101. A student may concurrently enroll in all three<br />

modules, but modules must be completed sequentially during the semester.<br />
