The <strong>ITT</strong>946 and <strong>ITT</strong>949 elements are quad<br />

two-input NAND/NOR lIates.<br />

In addition to performing the positive NAND and<br />

negative NO R logic functions.· the gates can be<br />

cross-coupled to form a flip-flop or ~he outputs can<br />

be tied together to perform the "wired OR"<br />

function.<br />

These quad two-input gates can also be wired to<br />

perform the "exclusive OR" function. while two<br />

elements can be wired together to form a full adder.<br />

The <strong>ITT</strong>946 incorporates a 6K output pull-up<br />

resistor which allows for a fan-out <strong>of</strong> up to 8 DTL<br />

loads.<br />

The <strong>ITT</strong>949 incorporates a 2 K output pull-up<br />

resistor which allows for typically 30% faster rise<br />

time with capacitive loads at a fan-out <strong>of</strong> up to 7<br />

DTLloads.<br />
