ConclusionsThe detailed study of the Soviet Ukrainian architecture is represented in thesection where the author explains the identity of the Ukrainian totalitarian architecturewith the samples of the analogical constructions in Europe during theperiod. The special attention is given to the psychological component of themonuments and the influences of those sculptures upon the plain people.Introduction of the earlier unknown documents into the scientific society— correspondence of O. Dovzhenko, A. Petrytsky, M. Hlushchenko,O. Khvostenko-Khvostova, staff reports of the officers of the criminal investigationdepartment to the punitive institutions of Kyiv and Moscow about the activityof the Ukrainian art intellectuals, new art works, especially those of Boychuk’sschool, and new name of painter I. Udovyts — is an evidence of the new approachin the research and modern view on the issue of the fine arts development in1930–1950. The research material, its principal conclusions and theoretical considerationscan be used in preparing certain sections of the new edition of the arthistory of Ukraine as well as in textbooks and lectures on history of art and culture.They will also contribute to the works of the museum experts in formationof the fund collections and displays in the modern museums of Ukraine. Theresults will stand in good stead for further investigation of the Soviet Ukrainianart of the XX century.
