In 2009, the International Secondary School Eindhoven (ISSE)
and the Regional International School (RIS) merged to form
the International School Eindhoven (ISE). The ISE is a Dutch
state school taking children from age 4 to 18. Currently we are
based on two campuses in Eindhoven but will relocate to a
single campus of some 14 hectares in September 2013. The
primary school has an integrated Dutch department and both
this and the international department use the International
Primary Curriculum alongside national curricula.
The ISE secondary school is an English language medium
school providing seven years of education based on the
programmes of the International Baccalaureate (IB):
The five-year International Baccalaureate Middle Years
Programme is for students aged 11-16, and leads to an IB
validated certificate of achievement.

The two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma
Programme is a prestigious and challenging programme for
students aged 16-18. Success in the diploma provides them
with entry to universities and colleges around the world,
including The Netherlands. Both of these programmes are
recognised by the Dutch Ministry of Education.
Well over 90% of our graduating students go on to higher
education. ISE graduates have gained admission to top
universities around the world, including North America, the
United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Japan and a wide range of
other countries.
ISE secondary school is accredited by the Council of
International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association
of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
