The Peruvian-German Reina del Mundo School is a
denominational Catholic school founded 42 years ago by the
Sisters of the Congregation of Missionaries of St Vincent de
Paul at Hildesheim, whose headquarters are in Germany. The
congregation has missions throughout the country, with
education as its main function, the school bases their actions
on the motto ‘Everything in humility, simplicity and charity’.
The school is located in the district of La Molina, in the Lima
region. Because of its location, the climate is mild in winter
and warm the rest of the year, making it one of the most
attractive places in the city.
Philosophy
The mission of the Peruvian-German Reina del Mundo school
is to train students within a personalized education system that
focuses on educational actvities and the cultivation of human
and Christian values, as well as in achieving a high academic
level with the command of two foreign languages: German and
English through the development of innovative projects. We
prepare every student to layout and undertake a coherent and
competitive Life Project.
Our motto ‘Everything in humility, simplicity and charity’
summarizes the values that drive us to a well done job and to
establish strong relationships with families based on mutual
trust and a shared responsibility for training the students. It is
for these reasons that the Peruvian-German Reina del Mundo
School has been authorized as an IB World School to offer the
Diploma Programme.
Academic and formative development
In order to achieve the international standards and an
education according to the needs of a globalized world, the
preparation of students begins in pre-school with the Optimist
Project, which allows them to develop skills at an early age
through methodologies that enhance autonomy, memory and
visual-auditory perception, language development, training
habits and the skills required for the learning process. In the
primary and secondary levels, we continue working on the
formation of values as an axis, and we use various materials to
enhance the students’ academic goals and to prepare them for
international certification in English and German.
The Reina del Mundo School students start at a very early
age in a life of piety and are prepared to receive the sacraments
of First Communion and Confirmation and, at the same time,
they increase each of their commitments to the Catholic
Church and to their brethren.
