Sixth Form Facilities
The sixth form campus is completely independent from the
main academy areas and offers superb facilities.
It consists of 30 designated classrooms including:
• four fully-equipped science labs with data-logging
facilities;
• ten rooms with full computer capability;
• three Divace Language labs;
• a large, purpose-built art studio and photography suite
plus high-specification sewing machines; and
• access to a state-of-the-art gymnasium.
The study area contains a further 20 networked computers
specifically for your use, which, along with the social areas, is
wi-fi enabled.
The social areas also have a large, wall-mounted plasma
screen, CD player and two pool tables, a football table, and
vending machines for snacks and drinks. Café Express, open
from 8am till 3pm, provides snacks, main meals and drinks in
a pleasant, adult environment.
Further expansion took place in September 2009 with the
addition of a new block of ten classrooms together with office
and meeting rooms.
