D-Ivy College is a private coeducational institution founded in
1998 to promote the quality of education in Nigeria.
The college hosts various programs of study including the IB
Diploma Programme, A levels and IGCSEs. The school has a
nursery and primary section as well.
We are proud to say that in 2004 we were the first school in
Nigeria to be authorised for the IB Diploma Programme. Since
then we have earned a reputation as a centre that generates
excellent examination results in addition to positively
moulding the character of students from different
backgrounds.
Many students who have graduated from D-Ivy are pursuing
their chosen courses in leading universities globally.
Congratulatory letters have also been sent to the school from
universities such as the University of Newcastle, where one of our
IB graduates finished with a first class honours degree in 2010.
The school offers a wide range of exciting extracurricular
activities to balance the outstanding academic results. Sports,
arts and crafts, community service, dance, music and drama
form part of life at the college.
D-Ivy College strives towards affording every student the
opportunity to develop according to their own needs and
abilities. With our innovative and dynamic approach to
teaching, the school is known for its stimulating learning
environment and approachable academic and support staff.
Many parents have commented at parents’ forums that the
IB Diploma Programme has proven to be the best educational
opportunity in the world, as it educates the totality of the
person and is the only pre-university qualification globally
acceptable for university admission.
The college is currently situated as a city campus in the
capital of Lagos state, Ikeja. Facilities include a swimming
pool, basketball court, two boarding houses and the main
school, all located within a five mile radius. Several shuttle
buses a day convey staff and students to and from these
facilities. However, the school is developing a large, campusbased
facility in Ota, which is within Ogun state, a more rural
and serene part of Nigeria.
