Warwick Academy was founded in 1662 and is commonly said to
be the oldest private school in continuous operation in the
Western Hemisphere. The school caters to students aged 5 to 18
years of age and has an enrollment of 770 with a teaching staff of
76. We provide the highest quality education to the Bermudian
community and international expatriates; we focus on each
individual child at the centre of all teaching and learning.
Warwick Academy is an academically selective, coeducational
school and essentially organised along British lines.
Warwick Academy is an authorized International
Baccalaureate World School and began to offer the
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in 2003.
Students study the National Curriculum for England and
Wales in Years 1-9, the IGCSE in Years 10 and 11 and progress to
the IB at diploma or certificate level. Our graduates exhibit
confidence and purpose, prepared for life beyond Warwick

Academy as they go on to study at strong international
academic institutions. We are proud to supplement our
challenging academic curriculum with wide ranging
extracurricular and community service programmes, and
Virtual Learning Environment accessible to staff, students and
parents.
We offer English, French, Spanish, mathematics, chemistry,
physics, biology, environmental systems and societies, design
& technology, ITGS, computer science, business and
management, geography, history, psychology, theatre arts,
visual arts and music. French and Spanish are offered from
Year 1.
