Institutional Identity
The sister schools of Bachillerato UPAEP, Angelópolis and
Santiago, are college preparatory day schools that form part of
one of the pre-eminent institutions of higher learning in
Puebla, Mexico, the Universidad Popular Autónoma del
Estado de Puebla (University UPAEP). The Bachillerato UPAEP
model is present in its ten high schools in three states of
Mexico and defines the learning experience of 1900 students.
Academic Program and Vision
The schools’ vision is firmly rooted in an inclusive Catholic
tradition and based upon the values of humanism. The use of
diverse technological resources is fully integrated into the
schools’ cross-disciplinary curriculum. Through a
comprehensive bilingual competency-based curriculum, and
in tandem with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
Programme, Bachilleratos UPAEP Angelópolis and Santiago
