Established in 1970, the Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi, is a<br />

private, coeducational school located on a five-acre plot in the<br />

Parklands suburb of Nairobi, Kenya.<br />

The academy has an enrolment of 700 students and is<br />

authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary<br />

Years and Diploma Programmes. We are also a candidate<br />

school for the <strong>IB</strong> Middle Years Programme and offer the IGCSE<br />

at grades 10 and 11. The Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi, is run by<br />

the Aga Khan Education Service Kenya, a non-profit<br />

organization that operates 11 schools.<br />

Mission: will enable many generations of students to<br />

acquire both the knowledge and the essential spiritual<br />

wisdom needed to balance that knowledge and enable their<br />

lives to attain the highest fulfillment.<br />

Admission: is based primarily on merit determined by a<br />

wide range of criteria, including academic strengths and<br />

overall potential.<br />

Our curriculum combines academic excellence with first<br />

class sporting and performance arts programmes.<br />

The faculty at the Aga Khan Academy are of the highest<br />

Two ICT resource centres, dance studio, three music rooms,<br />

connection, swimming pool, basketball/netball courts and<br />

sports fields.<br />

The nursery school is also candidate for the <strong>IB</strong> Primary Years<br />
