The School
Set on a gorgeous 25-acre wooded campus near the banks of
the Hudson River, the school offers the best of both worlds;
proximity to New York City (only 40 minutes by train to
Manhattan) and a safe, peaceful place to live and study. The
campus itself is fully-equipped with indoor swimming pool,

Academics
Education at EF is highly personal and a range of
internationally renowned programs are offered to meet the
individual needs of each student; including IB, North
American High School grades 9-10, as well as the High School
Preparation program. Intensive English language courses are
also available.

students been accepted into top ranked universities such as
UCLA, they have also been admitted to premier business
schools such as the University of Virginia (5), engineering
schools such as Renneselear Polytechnic (11) and arts schools
such as Pratt Institute (8).
Pastoral Care
Personal tutors provide one-to-one individualized support
and guidance. Each student is assigned a personal tutor
whose role is to monitor the student’s academic progress,
university applications and general welfare. Students are
encouraged to nurture their talents and develop new skills and
confidence.
Scholarships
Scholarships will be awarded to highly talented and
ambitious students who can make a positive contribution to
the school community. Two students are awarded Founder’s
scholarships, which will cover 50% of the total fees. Many
other general scholarships are also available for students who
demonstrate overall excellence.
Residential Life
Students live in comfortable, on-campus dormitory
accommodation. House parents and teachers provide support
and mentorship around the clock, and ensure a safe home
away from home for all students.
