In the Asia Pacific region the IB supports more than
490 schools offering over 680 programmes in 28
countries and territories.
The largest concentration of IB World Schools can be
found in Australia with over 130 schools, China/Hong
Kong with over 100 schools and India where there are
84 IB World Schools offering one or more of the IB
programmes.
IB Asia Pacific Programmes by Country
The IB in Asia Pacific has seen consistently high
growth in the past ten years from just over 100 schools
in 1999, to over 200 schools by 2004 and a further
doubling of schools to over 400 schools by 2009.
The IB Asia Pacific Global Centre resides in Singapore.
