Colegio Bilingüe Madison is a group of schools with more
than 35 years of experience building enduring learning in its
community. Internationally certified academic standards,
collaborative work, positive attitude and principled values are
highly regarded at our schools.
Colegio Bilingüe Madison Campus Monterrey was the first
school founded in the Madison Group of Schools, which are
located in different Mexican states: Nuevo Leon, Coahuila,
Veracruz and Chihuahua.
Monterrey is a modern and industrial city, known as one of
the three most industrious and important cities in Mexico.
Monterrey has at least four well-known universities with
important international exchange programs and several
smaller ones.
Colegio Bilingüe Madison Campus Monterrey became
bilingual in 1994. Since then, it has had a strong emphasis on
the English language.
The school has programs that nurture our students’
development:
• Jason Project: science project that requires students to
study global issues.
• Education First (EF): Two week debate and inquiry contest
held in London against other Mexican schools.
• Destination Imagination (DI): students compete in a
nationwide contest, solving problems, and developing
their thinking, creative and budgeting skills. Winners have
the opportunity to compete in the international contest.

• United Nations Model: academic simulation of the United
Nations that aims to educate participants about civics,
effective communication, globalization and multilateral
diplomacy.
In 1999 the school decided to become part of the IB
(International Baccalaureate) and began working towards its
authorization. The school achieved authorization to offer the
International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP)
in 2003 and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years
Programme (MYP) in 2007.
We have had students from Russia, Argentina, Venezuela,
Canada, Nicaragua, Colombia, United States, Philippines,
Lebanon, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, India and Japan.
One of the strengths of the Madison Group of Schools is an
International Teachers Program that enhances our students’
abilities to interact with foreign cultures, and learn from them.
For the last ten years, we have had instructors from Canada,
China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, England, Ireland, Lebanon,
Scotland, Poland and the United States, teaching in our schools.
Students and graduates from our school are well
appreciated by the community and by the high schools they
attend. Our well-articulated, inquisitive, mature and
responsible graduates and students have already made a
difference here in Mexico.

recognition from the SE (Secretaría de Educación) and is also a
member of the FEP (Federación de Escuelas Particulares).
