Enrolling students from 40 countries (American and British
students represent well over half the population), ACS Egham
International School is known as a friendly and caring
international community that values a holistic approach to
education. The school is an International Baccalaureate
teaching and learning centre of excellence and its philosophy is
based on developing the individual potential of each student. We
promote high standards of scholarship, responsibility and
citizenship through our IB programmes so that all our students
can be successful learners. Although there is no formal entrance
exam, ACS Egham is a university-preparatory school, sending its
students to many of the finest universities in the world.
Academic programme
• ACS Egham is an IB World School and one of only four
schools in the UK to offer the IB Primary Years Programme
(3-11), the IB Middle Years Programme (11-16) and the IB
Diploma Programme (16-18).
• ACS Egham graduates attend leading universities around
the world including: Oxford, University College London,
King’s College London, Royal Holloway and University of
Warwick in the UK; Boston University, Texas A&M,
Stanford University and Universities of Kansas, Oklahoma
and Southern California in the USA; and other fine
universities in Australia, Canada, Norway and Singapore.

The campus
• ACS Egham is located 25 miles south-west of central
London on a 20 acre site.
• The campus offers superb teaching, sports and cocurricular
facilities including a new IB Diploma Centre, Visual Arts &
Design Technology Centre, and a science hub. A new sports
facility is underway for summer 2012 opening.
Student activities
• Extensive and varied cocurricular clubs, sports, and
community service activities both locally and
internationally encourage students to benefit from the
richness of school life.
• Students also participate in international theatre art
programmes, competitive sport tournaments, maths,
literature, and music competitions in the UK and across
Europe.
Admissions
Admissions officers are available throughout the year to
help families enrol. Visits can be arranged on weekdays or
weekends.
• Applicants do not need to sit a formal entrance exam.
• Students are accepted in all grades throughout the year.

required for entry.
