Dulwich College Suzhou opened in August 2007 on the
eastern side of Suzhou and caters for international students
from pre-nursery (aged 2) to Year 13 (aged 18). The college is
an IB World School and offers the International Baccalaureate
Diploma Programme (IBDP) as its pre-university qualification.
The college offers a friendly, intimate and student-centred
learning environment. Students are placed at the very centre
of the learning process and receive a broad and balanced
education.
The Dulwich College educational philosophy places equal
emphasis on intellectual and personal development. To that
end we focus on three core areas throughout the school:
academic excellence; commitment to sport; and the
promotion of the arts, music and drama.
The college follows an adapted form of the English National
Curriculum, which enjoys an excellent reputation throughout
the world. The emphasis is on how to learn rather than just

on the students’ ability to work independently and to develop
their own thinking. The college has a very strong sporting
programme. Performance, including music and drama, plays
a central role in college life.
