Towards the Definition of a Compound Coordinate Sentence<br />

S u m m a r y<br />

In Georgian compound coordinate sentence of different structure and context<br />

often occur. Of them there are such kind of sentences which are difficult to be belonged<br />

to parataxic order due to inequality of constituent sentences, e. g.: a sentence "kvirti<br />

skdeboda da toti imitom irxeoda", at one glance grammatically and meaningfully<br />

consists of two independent sentences: 1) kvirti skdeboda; 2) toti imitom irxeoda. If<br />

we pay attention to whole context it is clear, that the second part of the sentence has no<br />

meaning independence. It has not of such syntactic power like the first one as without<br />

the existing of the first sentence it is misunderstanding the context of the second one: a<br />

branch was swaying because a bud was breaking. As it is clear the sentences of similar
