Towards the Definition of a Compound Coordinate Sentence
S u m m a r y
In Georgian compound coordinate sentence of different structure and context
often occur. Of them there are such kind of sentences which are difficult to be belonged
to parataxic order due to inequality of constituent sentences, e. g.: a sentence "kvirti
skdeboda da toti imitom irxeoda", at one glance grammatically and meaningfully
consists of two independent sentences: 1) kvirti skdeboda; 2) toti imitom irxeoda. If
we pay attention to whole context it is clear, that the second part of the sentence has no
meaning independence. It has not of such syntactic power like the first one as without
the existing of the first sentence it is misunderstanding the context of the second one: a
branch was swaying because a bud was breaking. As it is clear the sentences of similar
