Herzogenaurach2030: SportCITY
In den kontinuierlich wachsenden Städten ist es
besonders die Verkehrslandschaft, die einer radikalen
Neuorganisation bedarf. 18 Prozent der
weltweiten CO2-Emissionen werden durch den
Verkehr produziert – eine Verkehrswende – die
Reduzierung der privaten PKWs, der Ausbau des
ÖPNV sowie die konsequente Umsetzung des
Konzepts der 5-Minuten-Stadt mit qualitativ
hochwertigen Frei- und Bewegungsräumen ist
zwingend notwendig und wird für die Stadt- und
Freiraumplanung zu einem zentralen Entwurfsthema.
Wir starten das Experiment, eine radikale
Zukunftsvision für dieses Aufgabenfeld zu
antizipieren.
Wie wäre es, in einer Stadt zu leben, in der
es keine privaten PKWs und keine Parkplätze
gibt? Eine Stadt, in der sich alle Bewohner zu Fuß,
mit dem Fahrrad, Skateboard oder E-Rollern gesundheitsbewusst,
aktiv, kommunikativ und umweltfreundlich
bewegen? Welches neue Stadtbild
können wir generieren und wie wird die Stadt zum
Hotspot von Biodiversität transformiert?
Herzogenaurach, Heimat der Weltfirmen
Adidas und Puma, stellt sich uns als Experimentierfeld
zur Verfügung. Für die fränkische
Kleinstadt und deren besonderen, globalen
Kontext experimentieren wir mit der SportCITY.
Wir definieren Sport als universales Mobilitätssystem
und programmieren den Stadtraum
neu. Mit einem innovativen und kreativen Denkansatz
revolutionieren wir konventionelle und
zurückhaltende Ansätze und zeigen Möglichkeitsräume
für eine mutige, zukunftsbewusste
und aktiv nachhaltige Gesellschaft.
Herzogenaurach2030: SportCITY
In the continuously growing cities, it is particularly
the transport landscape that requires radical
reorganisation. 18% of global CO2 emissions
are produced by traffic – a transformation of
transportation – the reduction of private cars,
the expansion of public transport, as well as the
consistent implementation of the concept of the
5-minute city with high-quality open spaces and
spaces for movement is absolutely necessary
and becomes a central topic for urban and landscape
planning.
We are starting the experiment of anticipating
a radical vision of this field of activities!
How would it be to live in a city without private
cars and parking places? A city in which all
residents move in an active, communicative and
environmentally friendly way on foot, by bicycle,
skateboard or e-scooter? What new cityscape
are we able to generate and how will the city be
transformed into a hotspot of biodiversity?
Herzogenaurach, home of the global companies
adidas and puma, provides us as an experimental
field. For the small franconian town
and its special global context, we are experimenting
the SportCITY. We define sport as a universal
mobility system and re-programme the urban
space. With an innovative and creative
approach, we revolutionize conventional and reserved
approaches and show possibilities for a
courageous, future-conscious and actively sustainable
society.
