kekuatan karakteristik budaya lokal masyarakat di mana sekolah itu<br />

berada. Budaya sekolah yang menerima kemajemukan adalah pertanda<br />

bahwa komunitas sekolah tersebut memiliki kesadaran akan efek manfaat<br />

dan kegunaan budaya sekolah dalam membentuk watak dan karakter<br />

siswa yang terbuka dan toleran terhadap perbedaan dalam proses belajar<br />

mengajar. Dengan demikian budaya sekolah sangat baik karena memiliki<br />

standar isi dan standar kompetensi yang jelas dalam kurikulum: “Whatever<br />

is good to k<strong>no</strong>w is difficult to learn”, begitu kira-kira menurut pepatah orang<br />

Yunani Ku<strong>no</strong>, setidaknya.<br />
