any way we desire” (Kelm 2005:51). Kelm (2008:23) sê ook: “In this sense reality is like
poetry; it can be written in any manner conceivable and is open to infinite interpretations.”
2.3 Die gelyktydigheidsbeginsel
Vir Watkins e.a.
plaas. Ondersoek ís dus intervensie: “The seeds of change – that is, the things people think
and talk about, the things people discover and learn, and the things that inform dialogue and
inspired images of the future – are implicit in the very first questions we ask.”
aanhoudend vrae vra (in Kelm 2005:57).
questions become our experience.”
vrae wat ons ervarings skep: “You see, it’s not about asking the right questions. It’s about
asking the questions that take us to the right places. And what are the right places? The right
places are any place that is better than the place we are in, even if it’s just a little bit better”
[haar kursivering].
2005:58-9): “Change is an incremental, continuous process that occurs on many levels.”
The unconditional positive question asks about times when things are at their
best. It engenders a sense of wonder, excitement, and inspiration around the topic
of focus. It is generative, in that it stimulates new thinking that takes us beyond
our current ways of knowing. It asks us to look at what's right, what works, and
what we want most. It often involves asking about the positive core, which
contains the wisdom, successful strategies, best practices, skills, resources, and
capabilities of a person or organization. (In Kelm 2005:60)
